The Tiger is considered an important mythological creature and symbol strongly associated with Korean culture. The presence of the tiger as a symbol of immortality, spirituality, friendship and nobility are of profound importance to Joohee and remain reoccurring motif throughout her works. In 'Bouncy', the tiger symbolises the energies and pleasures in each of us and to focus our energies on living a full life and to share our experiences.
